The app has no backend or account and runs no analytics, crash reporting or advertising. Network requests and the website's optional contact form are described below.
What leaves your device
TabGreater fetches prices and candles directly from the public market-data APIs of the exchanges you use — Binance, Gate.io, Kraken, KuCoin and MEXC. Each of those requests carries, as every internet request does, your IP address, and it names the trading pairs you are watching. The app also downloads the five exchanges' lists of markets for use in pair searches, at most once a day and again after an install or update. These requests do not specify a pair, and the text you enter in the search stays on your device.
The exchanges receive and process that information under their own terms of service and privacy policies. NeatCode Labs has no access to it and no control over it. All connections use HTTPS / WSS.
The crypto "popular pairs" shortcuts on the add-pair screen and in the widget setup come from CoinGecko's public market-cap ranking: the app asks for that list at most once a day, and that request, like any other, carries your IP address. The stock tickers offered under Stocks are ranked on the device from the exchanges' lists of markets. Nothing else leaves the device. The chart runs in a WebView that loads only files bundled inside the app.
What stays on your device
Watchlists, chart drawings (including any text you add to them), settings, widget configuration, the exchanges' lists of markets and the candle cache are stored in the app's private storage. If Android Backup is enabled on your phone, Android includes that storage in your Google account backup, like it does for other apps. "Export watchlists" writes a JSON file to a location you choose; TabGreater never reads it again unless you import it.

The app does not request Android's POST_NOTIFICATIONS permission. Widget updates use a
foreground service, for which Android requires a notification. On Android 13 and later, when that
permission is not granted, Android omits the foreground-service notification from the notification shade
but still lists the running service in Task Manager. Android 12 and earlier use different rules and
may show the notification in the notification shade.

This website
tabgreater.com sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no scripts, fonts or images from anyone else's server. The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process request information such as IP addresses, traffic-routing data and system-configuration information. Its privacy policy says retention depends on the purpose and applicable legal needs; it does not give one fixed retention period for this website. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
The contact form
When you submit the form, your name, e-mail address, message and the IP address sent with your request are processed by Web3Forms to deliver your message to us as e-mail. Web3Forms says it retains form submissions for up to three years, or less if the applicable plan sets a shorter period or the submissions are deleted earlier; it deletes server logs regularly but gives no fixed schedule. It may send submitters' IP addresses and e-mail addresses to CleanTalk and Akismet for spam prevention. The delivered e-mail copy may be retained under the recipient mailbox's rules; this policy does not set a separate period for that mailbox. Nothing is sent to Web3Forms unless you press Send.
